A Journey to Strengthen Faith in Jesus Christ
Opening in April 2026, the Look Unto Christ walk will be the newest addition to Bear Creek Camp, Indiana, a sacred experience designed to help participants reflect on the life, teachings, and Atonement of Jesus Christ.
Patterned after the Youth Faith Walk created in Heber Valley, Utah, this inspiring project will provide an opportunity for all who attend to step away from the noise of daily life and walk with Christ both symbolically and spiritually.
An Immersive, Guided Experience
Look Unto Christ Walk is approximately 1.3 miles long and takes place in the quiet beauty of the camp at night. Participants wear noise-reducing headphones that play music, narration, and testimonies from Church leaders.
As they move along the illuminated path, individuals will view a series of scenes from the life of Jesus Christ, depicted through still images and video. Each scene invites reflection on His ministry, miracles, compassion, and ultimate sacrifice for all mankind.
Participants are encouraged to walk at their own pace, taking time at various reflection stations along the way to ponder what they hear and see, allowing the Spirit to teach, comfort, and inspire.
Moments of Reflection
Throughout the path are several places to sit, rest, and pray. These pauses are intentionally designed to help
participants internalize what they are hearing and feeling, from the Savior’s teachings to His Atonement and
Resurrection.
Every step is a reminder that Christ walks beside us, offering healing, hope, and clarity through life’s challenges.
“I hope that every person who has a chance to walk this path will find a deeper love for the words of ancient and modern prophets, will feel a deep strengthening of faith and commitment, and will come to know Jesus Christ better than they did before.
He walks with us… Jesus Christ is the strength of youth.”

The Purpose of the Walk
The goal of the Look Unto Christ Walk is to strengthen testimonies of Jesus Christ and invite participants to feel His presence more fully in their lives. This guided journey encourages personal reflection and connection, helping each person understand that the Savior is always there to offer peace, direction, and love.
This experience will be ideal for youth groups, families, and individuals who want to deepen their discipleship and relationship with Christ.
A Work of Faith and Service
Approval for the Look Unto Christ Walk came in the fall of 2025, and construction is already underway.
While Church approval has provided a generous foundation and budget, many additional items and materials are still needed to complete the project.
A number of individuals have already donated time, materials, and labor, and the camp is deeply grateful for these contributions. However, there is still much to do, and continued support from members, friends, and volunteers will ensure the success of this remarkable addition.
